Our Club is powered by volunteers. Without the generous support of members, and community helpers each year, we simply couldn’t operate. There are many ways to get involved, and we’d love to have you on board.
There are roles and available across a range of areas, including:
- Course Maintenance Operations
- Competition Day Canteen
- Bar Assistance (RSA needed)
- Club Events & Fundraisers
- General Administration Support
If you’d like to help out, simply have a chat to any of the committee members, or email the club on

- Helping others creates a “helper’s high”, a powerful physical and emotional boost.
- Even a small amount of volunteering can improve mood and happiness.
- Ongoing volunteering is linked to better mental health.
- Acts of kindness and compassion are strongly connected to wellbeing and longevity.
- Helping others provides purpose, confidence, social connection, and a sense of belonging.
- Volunteers contribute around $200 billion to the Australian economy every year.
- The number of volunteers in Australia has doubled since the mid-1990s.
- Young people volunteering has grown significantly over the same period.
- Out of 600,000 not-for-profit organisations in Australia, only 60,000 have paid staff, volunteers truly keep community sport alive.
